About the Role We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our small, friendly residential care home in Bexleyheath. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about enhancing the wellbeing and quality of life of residents through meaningful and engaging activities. Key Responsibilities * Plan, organise, and deliver a varied programme of activities tailored to residents’ needs * Encourage participation and promote social interaction * Lead both group and one-to-one activities * Adapt activities to support residents with differing abilities, including those living with dementia * Work closely with care staff to ensure a holistic approach to resident wellbeing Knowledge and Experience Essential: * NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care * Previous experience working as an Activities Coordinator Desirable: * Experience working with older people, particularly those living with dementia * Experience leading group activities Skills and Attributes * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Creative, enthusiastic, and empathetic approach * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Reliable and flexible If you are dedicated to making a positive difference in people’s lives and have the relevant experience, we would love to hear from you
