This brand-new role has been created to support continued growth, operational excellence, and the strategic development of the organisation. As General Manager, you will take full responsibility for site leadership across three core manufacturing departments each supported by their own departmental managers. This is a high-impact leadership position requiring a balance of operational oversight, people management, and strategic direction. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day operations across all production departments, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to customer requirements. Provide direction and support to departmental managers, promoting collaboration and high performance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, workflow, and cost control. Maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational standards across the site. Develop and nurture a positive workplace culture, ensuring engagement, accountability, and professional growth. Oversee resource planning, staffing levels, and operational priorities in line with business demands. Partner with senior leadership on strategic planning, forecasting, and business improvement projects. Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships. About You Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment. Ability to lead diverse teams and influence change through positive, hands-on leadership. Strong operational focus with a track record of improving processes and enhancing performance. Excellent communication, decision-making, and organisational skills.
