The Role
Our client is now looking to hire a Python Developer with a strong backend background to help design and build new products from the ground up. You will play a key role in shaping architecture, contributing to technical decisions, and putting your own stamp on exciting, greenfield solutions within a fast‑moving start‑up environment.
Requirements
* 4+ years’ experience in software development
* Strong commercial experience with Python
* Hands‑on experience building APIs using FastAPI
* Experience with Pydantic for data validation and modelling
* Strong understanding of ORMs, particularly SQLAlchemy
* Experience working with relational databases and writing efficient queries
* Interest in the sports industry (e.g. Football, Cricket, Tennis) or commercial exposure to sports or eSports
* Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline
