Bout Us
WORR is a growing, British-made fabrication company. We specialise in structural and architectural steelwork, with a reputation for quality and precision.
We're now looking for a Graduate Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team and develop into a key role — pricing, managing, and delivering projects. This is a rare opportunity to learn directly from a senior engineer with decades of experience, while shaping your long-term career in fabrication and construction.
The Role
As a Graduate Engineer, you'll work closely with our senior civil engineer and fabrication team to:
* Assist with estimating and pricing steel fabrication and construction projects.
* Interpret drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
* Support in project management, from tender to completion.
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, and the workshop to ensure smooth delivery.
* Develop pricing tools, templates, and project documentation using Excel and Fraction ERP.
* Spend time in the workshop and on-site to gain practical knowledge of fabrication and installation.
This role is hands-on — you'll be equally at home with numbers, drawings, and steel on the shop floor.
About You
We're looking for someone with:
* A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related discipline).
* Strong numerical and analytical skills (Excel proficiency essential).
* Interest in metal fabrication, structural steel, or construction projects.

* Clear communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
* Full UK driving licence (preferred).
What We Offer
* Structured mentorship from a senior civil engineer (50+ years' experience).
* Clear progression path to Estimator/Project Engineer, and beyond.
* Exposure to major industries.
* Competitive salary with growth opportunities.
* A supportive, close-knit team culture.
