We’re seeking an experienced Regeneration Manager. Leading the delivery of ambitious regeneration projects from concept to completion, undertaking options appraisals across properties and land, commissioning expert due diligence and shaping financially robust development proposals. You’ll manage budgets, procurement and partnerships, prepare board-level reports and ensure projects are effectively monitored and funded. Duties include:
1. Undertake options appraisal on individual properties, blocks of properties, parcels of land, potential property buy backs or other properties
2. Appoint consultant teams to undertake legal and technical due diligence and brief architects on designs
3. Undertake financial appraisals, including instructing valuations, which include residential, commercial, mixed use and wider regeneration initiatives
4. Lead on the preparation of reports for board aligned to delivery of key project and programmes, performance and Options Appraisals
5. Ensure regeneration activity is monitored, reported and evaluated, including to external delivery partners and funders
6. Manage project budgets from outline approvals through to securing funding, monitoring and evaluation, ensuring that information on forecasts and spend is accurate and is reported clearly through governance structures
7. Lead on procurement activity, either via frameworks or establishing joint venture partnerships to enable development, including oversight of contracts
8. Actively identify new opportunities for collaborative working, project ideas and funding opportunities which ensure the regeneration programme responds to economic, social and political changes. This may include purchasing third party land interests
9. Interpret and report on national and local policy, such as planning policies, which will impact on our communities
10. Assist in the development of new Regeneration Plans and be responsible for the management of existing Regeneration Action plans
11. Working closely with the Assets and Investment team to assess individual properties, blocks, parcels of land, and potential buybacks
Requirements
12. Experience of working on either new build developments within existing neighbourhoods or on large scale regeneration projects
13. Proven ability to deliver high-quality and effective project management across complex regeneration projects
14. Understanding how to evaluate individual properties, blocks, parcels of land, and potential buybacks to determine the most viable regeneration options
15. Experience in undertaking financial appraisals, ideally using SDS Proval software
16. Proven experience of successfully managing large capital budgets and flexibly deploying consultants to different areas of work as appropriate
17. Ability to write reports and communicate in an effective way
18. Driving licence with access to own vehicle.

20. A basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check will be required for the successful candidate as part of the pre-employment process - Criminal Conviction Checks
