Job Purpose
The Senior Director of Professional Services Consulting will help to lead and scale our global professional services organization, driving positive customer outcomes, revenue growth, and operational excellence across North America and EMEA. This strategic leadership position will be responsible for helping to develop and execute our global professional services strategy, ensuring we consistently deliver with a consultative mindset, and building a high-performing consultancy team.
Main Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Partner with the Global SVP of Professional Services as well as other Professional Services leaders to define and execute the global vision and strategy for the professional services organization, aligning with overall company objectives and market opportunities Develop and implement scalable consulting and technical frameworks, methodologies, and best practices to ensure consistent across regions Build and nurture strategic relationships with key clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
Business Development & Growth
Drive global professional services revenue growth through direct client engagement and supporting regional teams Collaborate with PS Solutions Engineering leadership to identify new professional services offerings and market opportunities and partner with PS leadership Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to create compelling solutions and go-to-market strategies Assist in managing global Professional Services Profit & Loss reporting to meet financial goals
Team Development & Management
Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse global team of consultants, solutions architects and developers across multiple regions Build and maintain a high-performance culture focused on positive customer outcomes, innovation, and continuous improvement Establish clear performance metrics, career paths, and development opportunities for the global consulting organization
Operational Excellence
Optimize resource allocation, utilization, and profitability across the professional services consulting organization Collaborate with the Director of Professional Services Delivery to Implement effective systems and processes for project management, knowledge sharing, and quality assurance Create standardized reporting and analytics to measure team performance, project outcomes, and client satisfaction
Thought Leadership
Represent the company at industry events and conferences as a thought leader Contribute to the development of thought leadership content, case studies, and industry insights Stay current with emerging industry trends, technologies, and best practices
Requirements
Experience
10+ years of experience in professional services, consulting, or related fields 5+ years in leadership roles managing large professional services teams Proven track record of scaling professional services organizations and driving substantial revenue growth Experience implementing and optimizing Professional Services methodologies and frameworks History of successful client relationship management at the executive level
Skills & Competencies
Exceptional leadership and people management abilities Strong strategic thinking and business acumen Outstanding communication and presentation skills Financial management and P&L responsibility experience Ability to operate effectively across different cultures and regions Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
Education
Bachelor"s degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred Relevant professional certifications a plus
Travel Requirements
Willingness to travel up to 40% (domestic and international) to support global team and client engagements
Location
Flexible with preference for major business hubs in North America (ET) and Europe (GMT/CET)
