The Real Estate department's core practice areas include construction, development, retail, investment, planning and environment, residential, dispute resolution, finance and taxation. We offer a one stop shop for property services from acquisition, financing and planning, through to construction, disposal and asset management, encompassing both commercial and residential property.
The planning team has 3 partners, 1 Of Counsel, 7 fee earners and 1 consultant. The team handles a wide range of planning related matters including planning appeals, compulsory purchase, EIA development, highway matters, planning obligations, policy and legal challenges. Its client base ranges from large institutional developers and funds to private clients. The team is passionate about what they do and are proactive in understanding continual political and policy changes, areas of interest and highlighting potential opportunities for clients.

Duties and Responsibilities
The role will involve advising clients on all aspects of planning including the drafting and negotiation of section 106 agreements, permitted development rights, certificates of lawfulness, compulsory purchase orders, objecting to planning applications, planning appeals and challenges, enforcement appeals, CIL, planning policy, environmental impact assessments, and due diligence in connection with real estate and corporate transactions.
