Installation Engineer
Salary: £30,100 - £34,000 per year, with a target bonus of 20% of salary. On-target earnings can reach up to £39,000 per year.

Hours: Full time, Monday to Saturday, 45hrs a week, 7.30am-5.30pm; 1 Saturday per month paid as overtime.

Job Purpose
The Installation Engineer will install fibre connections for customers, ensuring high-quality installation and outstanding customer service while updating systems in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
* Primarily work on customer installations.
* Maintain the highest standard of customer service during installations.
* Manage the tools issued and the vehicle assigned, following vehicle policy.
* Complete assigned tasks on time and manage day‑to‑day jobs.
* Maintain H&S compliance.
* Work individually and as part of a team to achieve targets and KPIs.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Experience working in a similar role on the Openreach Network.
* Able to conduct risk assessment and hazard identification with a strong emphasis on Health and Safety.
* Demonstrable experience in a networking engineering environment (preferred).
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Physical fitness for manual handling tasks.
* A proactive approach to improving efficiencies and working smarter.
Requirements
* Must hold a full UK driving license for at least 12 months.
* Desirable: SA001, SA002, S7, S8 or equivalent; IPAF 1b; NRSWA unit 2 minimum; SMART AWARDS; Telecommunications experience or transferable skills.
