Senior Product Manager - Documents Management System

Clio is the global leader in legal AI technology, empowering legal professionals and law firms of every size to work smarter, faster, and more securely.

Clio’s suite of products is rapidly expanding, and the needs of our users are diverse and constantly evolving.

The most recent evolution is the formation of Clio’s Enterprise division which currently comprises ShareDo (shortly to be named Clio Operate) and vLex Vincent. We strongly believe that this consolidated set of products represents a category defining client proposition that can act as an enabler for “untethered growth” for our legal clients. So far our clients agree and Operate grew revenue by ~100% in 2025.

In order to achieve this vision, we are hiring for a Senior Product Manager to lead the development and evolution for our Documents team.

Overview

Our mission is to build the best in class document management and drafting experience for our customers.

The documents product manager is responsible for:

* Managing the multi-channel receipt and storage of all documents (ShareDo provides an adapter on top of DMS’s including NetDocs, iManage and O365)
* Providing a rich set of Document-centric tools including bundling, splitting and more
* Delivering a best in class Document Drafting experience including AI drafting

Document management is a specialist domain that needs to be world class for our law firm clients and the ideal candidate would have worked in this area extensively.

What you bring

* Strong experience in Documents & Drafting: We have worked extensively in document management.
* Entrepreneurial and ownership mentality: You care about details and can advocate for change even in areas that aren’t directly yours (without being a jerk). Think deeply, act quickly.
* Crystal clear communication: You can distill deeply complex and technical concepts into something our customers and the rest of the business can understand.
* Outcomes-focused: You obsess over maximizing impact for our customers and the business at every step in product development.
* Customer-obsessed: You talk to customers all the time (weekly, at least), and understand deeply how they want to get their work done.
* Collaboration: You’re a delightful and effective collaborator with everyone in the business.

What you’ll work on

Strategic Product Leadership

* Develop and execute a product vision, strategy and roadmap aligning with Clio's overarching business objectives and customer needs.
* Understand customer needs and think deeply on how best to solve these issues.
* Work cross-functionally with other product managers, engineers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality product changes.

Product Development and Lifecycle Management

* Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch.
* Use data and customer insights to track key metrics and performance indicators, identifying opportunities for product optimization and continuous improvement.
* Produce end-user, configurator and developer materials to assist our partners, clients and the general ShareDo community in better utilizing our platform.

Stakeholder Engagement

* Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including customers and other Clio product teams, to gather insights, feedback, and requirements that inform product development and improvements.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, ensuring alignment across departments and effective communication of product goals and milestones.

Your Experience

* Over 4 years of product management experience in the tech industry, with a proven track record of managing and enhancing complex software products or platforms.
* Experience working with applications that support document management is essential.
* Experience designing and building technical products for volume usage.
* Strong business and metrics focus.
* Experience conducting user research, gathering feedback, and using data to inform product decisions that enhance the user experience.
* Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across product, engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others and drive product initiatives forward.

Benefits

Compensation is one of the main components of Clio’s Total Rewards Program. We have developed a series of programs and processes to ensure we are creating fair and competitive pay practices that form the foundation of our human and high-performing culture.

* Competitive, equitable salary
* Clio offers a flexible hybrid work environment

Expected Salary Range

£81,100 to £109,500 GBP. For experienced individuals, we typically hire at or around the midpoint of the band. The top portion of the salary band is reserved for employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. Those who are new to the role may join below the midpoint and develop their skills over time. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on geographical region, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
