Mane are currently on the lookout for Electricians to join a skilled maintenance team working nights on a major tunnel and highways closure project. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced electricians to work on a high-impact, safety-critical infrastructure upgrade with long-term prospects and premium night shift pay. Your Role Will Include: As a qualified Electrician, you'll be responsible for a variety of electrical works in a tunnel environment, including: Carrying out LV (Low Voltage) electrical installations to current IEE Wiring Regulations Installation of cable containment systems - tray, trunking, conduit, and basket work Upgrading and maintaining tunnel lighting and power systems Electrical testing and fault-finding Terminating SWA, glanding, and connection of control panels and junction boxes Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety procedures Working from drawings and schematics to install and commission electrical systems Collaborating with supervisors, site managers, and Improvers to deliver the project on time Requirements: JIB Gold Card (essential) Fully qualified Electrician - NVQ Level 3 / AM2 or equivalent Strong understanding of LV systems and electrical safety Experience working on highways or tunnel projects is a bonus Comfortable working night shifts in a confined space environment Must be reliable, safety-focused, and able to work as part of a team Why Work With Us? 10 hours paid per shift - only 9 hours worked Free on-site parking Long-term project with consistent, ongoing shifts Be part of a professional, safety-first team on a flagship infrastructure scheme Opportunity to work in a unique and challenging environment that adds real value to your experience
