The bit about the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the marketing campaigns across 3 of Hyve’s retail events - Glee, Pure X JATC and Scoop. You will be responsible for leading a team across multiple functions to deliver on both revenue and visitor targets. With a proven track record running campaigns across multiple channels to budget you will be responsible for the development of your team to achieve your goals.
Glee
Glee is the most important event for the gardening community and the international festival for Garden, Leisure and Pet - presenting the most exciting brands, innovative products and inspiring garden retail insights.
Bringing together the whole of the gardening industry under one roof, Glee is a central hub for face-to-face trading, networking and the growth of new ideas.
Glee takes place in September at the NEC in Birmingham
Pure London X JATC
Pure London X JTC bring together the brightest minds in the industry twice a year to showcase the best must-have collections, discover the latest trends, get exclusive business insight, and make all-important international connections.
Pure London x JATC provides a global platform for brands and designers to meet with buyers that matter the most to their business and connect.
Pure London X JATC takes place at London Olympia in February and July.

Recognised by designers, fashion buyers and industry experts as one of the UK’s leading fashion and lifestyle trade shows, Scoop offers visitors a unique buying environment to discover some of the most exceptional brands on the market.

As part of your job, you’ll:
* Develop and successfully execute the marketing campaign strategy across all marketing channels to drive revenue and visitor targets.
* Be responsible for the marketing budgets and forecasted budgets for future events
* Line management responsibility of a team of 3 Marketing Executives
* Develop the brand’s value proposition to ensure it’s always as relevant
* Oversee the management and production of all marketing communications across marketing emails, social, PPC and website.
* Collaborate with the Hyve Digital Marketing & Digital Experience teams and the Retail and Fashion Content team on a data growth strategy
* Lead the Glee, Pure X JATC and Scoop marketing campaign working with the digital marketing team, creative team and content team.
* Responsible for the management of all partners and PR agencies
* Report directly to the Head of Marketing on all marketing activity, strategy and KPI performance.
* Support the Head of Marketing and Event Directors and contribute to the long-term portfolio strategy.
And here’s what we’re looking for from you:
* Proven marketing experience (Ideally in events, but not essential).
* Proven team management skills as well as cross departmental project management.
* Proven experience in testing, adapting and improving customer journeys across all marketing channels, alongside the setting of key metrics
* Evidence of relationship building across industry partners
* Experience in managing budgets, forecasting and setting budgets
* The ability to be agile, changing strategies and tactics when needs to be changing markets and producing new reactive ad hoc campaigns.
* Proven experience overseeing the management and performance of multiple marketing channels.
* Experience of working on a strategic level, compiling relevant event and marketing KPIs and creating strategic marketing plans
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders
* Experience managing a high workload across multiple channels and being able to prioritise and work at pace.
* Experience in reporting and high-level analysis.
* To be the brand guardian for these events. Someone who lives and breathes the brand and is passionate about seeing it grow.
