Senior Play Worker Practitioner
Job Type: Part Time - 29 hours a week
Location: Tranent, East Lothian
Salary: £13.00 to £15.00 per hour (circa, depending on experience)
Hours: Breakfast 7:15 am‑9:00 am; After school 2:30 pm‑6:00 pm Monday‑Thursday, 11:45 am‑6:00 pm Friday (Term Time). School holiday hours may apply.
The Role
Senior Play Work practitioners are needed to join Tranent out of school club. They provide a safe, healthy, and fun play environment for children, ensuring their time spent is happy and rewarding. The staff are warm and welcoming, offering the best care to the children.
Skills and Qualifications
* Qualification in Play Work/Childcare essential at SVQ/HNC Level.
* Experience and passion for working with children 4‑12 years.
* Committed, dynamic and creative.
* Talented at facilitating social, emotional and play development.
* High expectations of self and others.
* Good time‑keeping skills.
* Friendly and approachable.
* Committed to training and personal development.
* Computer literate.
