A private family are seeking a Live-in Domestic Couple to join a small team at their private estate in Staffordshire.
Previous experience working in private house is desirable, although not essential.
The Couple will be required to travel internationally with the family.
Housekeeper Duties:
Working alongside 2 other Housekeepers.
Duties included but not limited to:
1. Basic food preparation
2. Packing and unpacking for travel
3. Housekeeping – cleaning all public and private areas
4. Deep cleaning of the family home
5. Organising the kitchen
6. Laundry and ironing
7. Ensure toiletries and provisions are replenished
8. Keeping courtyards and immediate areas around the house clear
9. Changing linen and towels in bedrooms
10. Waste management
11. Animal care
12. Occasional childcare duties
13. Travel with the family across Europe and US
Houseman Duties:
The Houseman will be responsible for the maintenance and security of the property as well as assisting in the garden.
Duties included but not limited to are:
14. Interior and exterior basic maintenance
15. Alarms and security
16. Vehicle maintenance and management
17. Taking care of outbuildings
18. Ad-hoc DIY and maintenance
19. Liaising with contractors
20. Running errands
21. Interior and exterior painting and specialist treatment of surfaces
22. Basic plumbing
23. Basic electrical maintenance
24. Monitor garden lights and replace bulbs when required
25. Check, clean, and unblock gutters
26. Mowing the lawns
27. Repairing burst pipes
28. Animal care
29. Experience with cattle desirable but not essential
30. Travel with the family across Europe and US
The ideal Couple will be hardworking and efficient, with a keen eye for detail and discretion an absolute must.
Days/Hours : The basic working hours are 40-50 hours per week, Monday – Friday. However, when the family are in residence, the Couple will be required to work weekends with additional time off in the week. There will be occasional travel to the principal's other property in the UK.
Accommodation : Long-term, a spacious apartment on the estate. Nice sized kitchen, lounge, & bathroom. Non-smokers. No dependants please.
Salary : £60,000-£70,000 Gross DOE (Annual Performance Bonus Review provided at 12 months)
