Role Summary My personal assistant will be alongside me in my own comfortable home to help with daily living. This involves: • Build a supportive & responsive relationship to my care needs • Assist with washing, dressing, continence care and hoisting • Meal Preparation including cooking • Dispensing medication • General Housekeeping duties • Use of a ceiling hoist whilst being mindful of moving & handling techniques at all times Attributes and skills required • You must be fit and strong • Experience in hoisting • Caring & Sensitive Personality • Have a good sense of humour • Flexible & Adaptable with the ability to manage a range of support tasks • Honest, Reliable and Trustworthy • Ability to work unsupervised Availability Required Any 9, 12 or 24 hour weekend shifts will be considered. Please discuss your availability with me. Salary £14.75 per hour plus holiday allowance (pro rata) and 3% pension.
