The Role:
As Quantity Surveyor, you will:
Provide quantity surveying support across a range of civil engineering projects, including but not limited to: road and highway construction, drainage and flood mitigation schemes, utilities infrastructure projects, groundworks and earthworks, site development and remediation.
Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, tender documents, and contract negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
Monitor project costs, track variations, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Prepare and manage payment schedules and claims.
Ensure compliance with all relevant contractual obligations and industry standards.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site managers to ensure effective cost control and project delivery.What We're Looking For:
A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying (e.g., BSc in Quantity Surveying, HND in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent).
Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the civil engineering industry, ideally with exposure to a range of project types.
A strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and specifications relevant to civil engineering projects.
Excellent knowledge of relevant cost estimating software, measurement standards, and contract documentation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Benefits:
