Location: Warrington (office based) Salary: £35-38k Base Salary (DOE) competitive commission structure (OTE £55-62k) Company Overview We are a Prop/Fintech firm helping property investors with end‑to‑end business set‑up and financial compliance services — from company formation and bank‑account onboarding with bookkeeping tools, to year‑end accounting and corporation tax software. We’re looking for a driven BDM to build partnerships, drive new client acquisition and grow recurring revenue. Role Summary As the BDM you’ll be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building relationships with referral partners / intermediaries, and closing deals with SMEs who need our full suite of services (company formation bank account bookkeeping year‑end/corporation tax software). You will be focused on building the pipeline, delivering on revenue targets, managing proposals, and ensuring smooth hand‑over to account management/operations. Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute a business development strategy to drive new client acquisition. • Identify, approach and onboard new referral/affiliate partners (accountancy firms, business consultants, banks, fintech platforms, etc) and direct clients. • Present our offering clearly, showing value of our end‑to‑end service. • Hit monthly client conversion targets. • Collaborate with marketing to generate leads, attend networking/events, webinars, and seminars. • Qualify marketing generate leads and follow up with users who started but did not complete the registration flow, to help them through the process and convert them into paying clients. • Provide feedback and market intelligence: client needs, pricing sensitivity, competitor offerings. • Upsell additional services (bookkeeping, year‑end accounts, corporation tax filing) to existing clients/ franchisee partners. Skills & Experience • Proven track record in business development in both property and fintech space (ideally both) • Excellent communicator, presenter, negotiator, able to build relationships at senior levels. • Comfortable with consultative selling and explaining value propositions. • Good commercial acumen with understanding of subscription models, recurring revenue, lifetime value. • Self‑motivated, target driven, organised, able to manage pipeline effectively. • Strong networking skills and ability to build partnerships channels. • Experience using CRM and sales tools. • Knowledge of SME accounting/bookkeeping/formation market would be a plus.
