What you'll do:
In the capacity of Family Solicitor at this highly regarded Gloucestershire practice, you will:
* Manage an extensive caseload encompassing all facets of family law such as divorce, separation, financial remedies, private children matters, and cohabitation disputes with the utmost diligence and professionalism.
* Provide lucid advice and empathetic support to clients navigating sensitive family issues, ensuring their needs are addressed with understanding and respect.
* Attend court hearings as required, advocating on behalf of clients while upholding the highest standards of legal representation.
* Contribute constructively to the ongoing development of the family department by offering insights for process enhancements and best practices.
* Engage in business development activities including article drafting, public relations initiatives, social media engagement, networking events, and marketing campaigns to elevate the department's profile.
* Collaborate closely with colleagues across various departments to deliver seamless legal services tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
* Maintain meticulous records and manage case files efficiently using contemporary IT systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Demonstrate commercial awareness by integrating technical expertise with an appreciation for client expectations and prevailing market trends within family law.
* Support junior team members through knowledge sharing and mentorship where appropriate to foster a collaborative learning environment.
What you bring:
To excel as a Family Solicitor in this distinguished role, you will bring
* Qualified solicitor possessing at least four to five years' post-qualification experience advising on family law matters including divorce, finances, and private law children work.
* Demonstrated ability to address sensitive client issues with compassion and professionalism whilst always maintaining strict confidentiality.
* Experience attending court hearings as an advocate on behalf of clients is essential for this appointment.
* Resolution membership or similar accreditation would be advantageous though not obligatory.
