Electrician - Commercial Testing
Permanent | Full Time | Company Van + Overtime Potential (£10k)
Location: Slough, High Wycombe, Watford (regional travel required) • Hours: Mon‑Fri, 45 hours (includes 30 mins travel each way) • Additional: Weekends & night work paid at 1.5x
We are working with one of the UK's leading compliance and electrical testing specialists, who are seeking a Mobile Electrician – Commercial Testing to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a variety of commercial projects for both public and private clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across commercial sites.
* Diagnose faults and carry out remedial works efficiently and safely.
* Complete small‑scale installations and minor upgrades as required.
* Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and point‑of‑work assessments.
* Maintain accurate records and reports using mobile devices.
* Liaise with clients to minimise disruption during works.
* Work flexibly across shifts, including weekends, nights, and regional travel.
Essential Requirements
* City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing Certification.
* Proven experience in electrical testing (EICRs) and remedial works in commercial environments.
* Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., 18th Edition, ECS Gold Card).
* Strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations and compliance standards.
* Flexible approach to working hours, including night and weekend work.
* Full UK driving license and willingness to use a company vehicle.
* Commercial or industrial background essential.
Additional Information
Company vans are fitted with cameras for safety and compliance.
Overtime potential of up to £10k per year.
