Temporary School Receptionist
We are currently seeking a Temporary School Receptionist to join our clients busy school office team immediately. This is a vital front-facing role requiring excellent communication and organisational skills.
📍 Location: Stanmore
🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:45pm (30-minute lunch break)
📅 Duration: Temporary, 4-8 weeks
💼 Pay: £14.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
* Manage incoming calls, parent queries, and emergency contacts.
* Provide admin support to the Headteacher, Business Manager, and Leadership Team.
* Greet and monitor visitors, ensuring safeguarding and security procedures are followed.
* Maintain pupil attendance records and update ParentPay for school meals.
* Handle emails, incoming post, and general office correspondence.
* Ensure safe use of office equipment and arrange maintenance when needed.
* Support overall site security and assist with general office duties including photocopying and filing.
Ideal Candidate
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
* Experience using Arbor, ParentPay, and CPOMS is highly desirable.
* Previous experience in a busy school office environment.
* Friendly, professional, and able to multitask under pressure.
