Salary: £41,000 to £45,000 + Pension + Benefits

The Role
Primarily a HSE Co-Ordinator and will drive forward in both Safety & Environmental aspects by maintaining and building upon current routines whilst adding external experience. Working as part of the management team the co-ordinator will need to demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative to achieve the company's safety goals. Secondary function as a Process Engineer, working as part of the Process Improvement Team to improve product quality and facilitate the daily operations of the manufacturing department.
* Be the Health & Safety / Environment expert for the site
* Management of ISO systems
* Implementation and support HSE Management Systems
* Complete HSE Internal and External Audits
* The implementation of Global Health, Safety, Environment, Quality Systems and Security Initiatives
* Key contact on waste and energy use / climate change agreement
* Review, amend H&S policies as and when required
* Reporting HSE Performance with Plant manager
* Promote safe working practices
* Provide HSE support and guidance
* Producing and presenting HSE information
* Fire Safety
* Develop and deliver training
* Provide daily manufacturing instruction to the shop floor in the form of Process Books, Process Change Notifications, Procedures and Work Instructions
* Work with R&D on new product development and key product and process metric identification with measurement specifications
Provide support on any new, critical process implementations (provide procedures, take measurements, observe, document
