HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver (Temp to Perm)
Location: Barnsley
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (4 nights away)
Salary: £15.50 - £17.37 per hour + (£25.00 per evening expense - increases when you move to perm)
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver to join our client on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled driver who is confident operating tippers and is seeking long-term, stable employment with career progression opportunities.
The role involves transporting bulk materials, ensuring safe and timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Key responsibilities:
* Safely operating a Class 2 Tipper vehicle
* Transporting and tipping loads across sites and customer locations
* Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
* Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and paperwork
What we are looking for:
* Valid HGV Class 2 Licence
* Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card (essential)
* Proven experience driving tippers
* Strong understanding of driver hours and regulations
