A leading international consultancy is seeking an experienced Geo-Environmental Consultant to join its UK team, based from in Leeds. Operating across energy, infrastructure and environmental services, the business supports major projects through the full asset lifecycle, with a growing focus on sustainable development and regeneration.
The Geo-Environmental Consultant Role
You’ll support and manage contaminated land assessment and remediation projects, working across both office and site environments. The role combines technical delivery, site supervision and client-facing responsibilities, with strong scope for career progression.
Key Responsibilities
1. Delivering contaminated land assessments, site investigations, risk assessments and remediation strategies
2. Supporting remedial design, implementation and verification
3. Acting as NEC Supervisor on remediation projects (NEC3/NEC4), supporting the Project Manager
4. Managing site activities, contractors and health & safety requirements
5. Reviewing, interpreting and managing environmental data
6. Preparing clear, high-quality technical reports
About the Geo-Environmental Consultant selected:
7. Degree qualified in geology, geoscience, geotechnical engineering or earth sciences
8. Proven UK experience in contaminated land assessment and remediation
9. Strong report writing and data interpretation skills
10. Full right to work in the UK
11. Full UK Driving Licence
12. Live in or near to Leeds
