Administrator (Business Team)
Location: Guildhall, Salisbury
Salary: £24,309 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week

About us:
Support Salisbury City Council Business Team via administrative duties to enable the Guildhall, Events and Market to operate effectively and efficiently.
The post involves a wide range of tasks from managing schedules and correspondence to maintaining records and providing general administrative support. Ultimately the job role contributes to the overall productivity and success of the team and the wider council.
About you:
Experience in administration
Knowledge and proven experience of using Microsoft Office/SharePoint as constant use of Word, Excel and Outlook is required
Good written and verbal communication skills
A broad experience in Customer Service
Experience of dealing with the public, including telephone and email enquiries
Ability to work on concurrent tasks, to tight deadlines, prioritising a daily workload
Essential Criteria:
To keep up to date records and paperwork to ensure the Business Department administration is correct. This includes (but not extensive):
Inputting of data
Creating application forms templates
Ensuring application forms are available on the SCC website
Inputting information for invoices to be raised
Monitoring of Events, Markets, Advertising and Guildhall inboxes
To assist the Business Team by:
Acknowledging receipt of application forms for markets, event etc.
Inputting the above application forms and ensuring all documentation has been received and is current and correct
Notifying applicants of an outcome
To assist (on the day) when required, any event or market. Including the collection of monies
Dealing with telephone enquires
To undertake all administrative procedures in support of the Councils Markets and events, the Guildhall as a venue, Salisbury City Council open and green spaces (including the Market Place and Guildhall Square) as a commercial space
