Martley Capital Group is a full-service real estate investment management platform whose activities cover real estate investing, lending, asset management and investment advisory.
The company launched in December 2023 and employs c.35 staff across five offices in the UK and Europe and has AUM of over £900m across 22 mandates.
Since launching, Martley has been focusing on Direct Real Estate and Credit strategies, taking advantage of current dislocation and mispricing in the market.

The Role
We are seeking a high-calibre Asset Management Analyst with versatility and desire to get involved with many aspects of an exciting real estate disruptor. The position will be based in London.
The overall objective of this role is to take responsibility for the asset management of individual assets and provide analysis across asset management initiatives and portfolios.
Responsibilities
Asset Management
Asset management, including but not limited to:
•New lettings, lease renewals, rent reviews, lease expiries, surrenders, forfeitures, lease regears.
•Preparation and submission of approvals including liaison with clients and Fund Administrators
•Developing and implementing value-add asset management strategies.
•Identification and execution of strategies to reduce void costs and shortfalls.
•Maximising rent collection.
•Managing third-party service providers including letting agents, solicitors, property managers and building surveyors.
•Implementing and overseeing refurbishment programmes and asset repositioning.
•Inspecting assets and progressing of any resulting actions which may include issues of repair, occupation and common parts management.
•Ensuring the accuracy of tenancy data.
•Reviewing and approval of service charge budgets.
•Invoice approvals.
•Overseeing and ensuring Health and Safety compliance.
•Attending meetings with stakeholders.
•Preparation of quarterly & annual reports.
Investment Analysis
•Review and implement changes to existing financial models for the appraisal of AM initiatives and leasing opportunities.
•Appraising the financial viability of capex projects and asset management initiatives in conjunction with the Asset Managers and Finance teams.
•Assist with annual budgeting, liaising with Investment Management and Finance teams as required
•Assisting in the sourcing, modelling, inspecting and carrying out required due diligence for acquisitions.
Requirements
To be considered for the role, you should show:
Technical
•MRICS
•Real Estate Financial Modelling Certification
•Knowledge of Landlord & Tenant legislation
•Experience in delivering value-add across real estate asset classes
•Experience in the production of reports for senior colleagues and/or clients
•Articulate and numerate with very good analytical skills
•Advanced MS Excel skills, Intermediate MS Word and PowerPoint skills
•Experience with Yardi or other property database(s)

•Motivated with rigorous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
•Aptitude for problem-solving and tenacity to get things done
