Salary: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school community in Maltby. As an SEN TA, you will help create a nurturing, safe environment where every child feels supported and valued.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will be:
* Providing one-to-one or small group support for pupils with a range of SEN needs.
* Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.
* Helping manage challenging behaviour in a calm and professional manner.
* Fostering a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
* Working collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals to support pupil progress.
To be an SEN Teaching Assistant, a candidate is required to:
* Experience working with SEN children, such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language needs.
* Be patient, empathetic, and adapt to individual learning styles.
* Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Hold a relevant qualification or have prior school-based experience.
* Have an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one.
* Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gaps over the past 10 years.
