Job Description
3. Oversee all day‑to‑day finance operations
4. Produce accurate and timely financial statements and reconciliations
5. Lead the full group consolidation process
6. Own the month‑end and year‑end close
7. Deliver clear, insightful management reporting, including monthly exec packs and quarterly board reports
8. Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles
9. Deliver regular cashflow forecasts and risk commentary
10. Partner with department heads to improve financial performance
11. Support business growth projects and identify efficiency opportunities
12. Manage cost centre reporting and analysis
13. Oversee tax filings, regulatory reporting and audit requirements
14. Manage relationships with auditors, banks, insurers and external partners
15. Strengthen internal controls and financial policies
16. Lead and develop a team of three finance professionals
17. Provide coaching, structure, and continuous improvement
18. Adopt a hands‑on approach when needed (approvals, payments, credit control, etc.)
The Successful Applicant
ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent)5+ years' experience in finance, ideally in a group or multi‑entity environmentStrong technical reporting, consolidation, budgeting and forecasting experienceKnowledge of UK tax regulationsHands‑on month‑end close and cashflow experienceConfident leader with strong communication skillsProactive, solutions‑focused and comfortable in a fast‑moving setting
