As part of our Operations and Technology function, we are looking for a AI Prompt Engineer who will work closely with our AI & Automations Manager, playing a key role in designing, building, and maintaining AI‑powered workflows, prompt systems, and intelligent automations that support the wider business.
This role blends technical execution with operational understanding. You will be involved in AI prompt engineering, automation logic, and system integration, while also helping the business understand processes, improve efficiency, and scale intelligent solutions.
Responsibilities
* Support our AI & Automations Manager in designing, building, testing, and maintaining AI‑driven solutions
* Engineer, refine, and maintain AI prompts, prompt frameworks, and reusable prompt patterns
* Build and support automations, workflows, and integrations across business systems
* Write, review, and maintain code used in AI pipelines, automation logic, data handling, or system integrations
* Translate business and operational requirements into effective AI and automation solutions
* Explore, recommend, and implement process and AI performance improvement
* Support data collection, analysis, and insight generation to improve AI outputs and workflows
* Document prompts, workflows, decisions, and system logic clearly
* Communicate progress, risks, and opportunities effectively across the business
Skills & Experience
* Tech‑confident – you are comfortable with coding, AI models, prompt engineering, automation tools, APIs, and modern software systems
* Technical Capability (Required), strong knowledge and hands‑on experience in:
o AI prompt engineering and prompt optimisation
o Working with large language models (LLMs) and AI‑assisted workflows
o Coding (e.g. Python, JavaScript, or similar)
o Automation platforms, APIs, and system integrations
* Logical problem‑solving, debugging, and structured thinking
* Working with data, outputs, and performance feedback loops
