About the Role
✔ Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 1 pupil with autism
✔ Support her learning, communication and emotional regulation
✔ Adapt activities and resources to help her access the curriculum
✔ Build a trusting relationship to promote confidence and independence
✔ Work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider SEN team
✔ Help create a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
✔ A caring, patient, and understanding individual
✔ Experience with autism or SEN (advantageous but not required)
✔ Graduates in Psychology or SEN-related degrees highly encouraged to apply
✔ Strong communication and relationship-building skills
✔ Reliability, resilience, and a positive attitude
✔ Someone passionate about helping a child succeed
