Integration Project Manager/ 6 month contract / Day rate negotiable / Hybrid working

Here at Primark we have an exciting opportunity for an immediately available Integration Project Manager to join us on an initial 6 month contract, with hybrid working where you must be willing to travel to our Reading office 1 day per week.

Purpose of role:
As the Integration Project Manager, you will manage the system integrations required between third party vendors and Primark relating to the new EPOS system. This will involve managing and co-ordinating third-party vendors as well as internal resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing the successful development of system integrations, including co-ordinating the new EPOS vendor and Primark’s internal teams to work collaboratively.
• Managing the system integrations design, build, testing, UAT and successful sign off for a new EPOS software for the US.
• Work with stakeholders to define and agree scope, feasibility, costs, project timeline to ensure the integrations are sequenced correctly.
• Identifying and resolving project issues and managing risks.
• Ensuring Primark Technology standards and policies are always adhered to.
• Ensure that project deliverables are completed within planned cost, timeframes and resource budgets.
• Managing and tracking progress against project timescales.
• Drive continuous improvement through third party suppliers and internal teams.
• Effectively communicate project updates to US Programme manager and Key Business Contacts -
o Delivery Project Manager
o Project sponsors
o US Retail team
o Technology Leadership teams
o Third Party Suppliers/Partners
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with business and IT colleagues and vendors, resolving conflicting priorities or issues as they arise.
• Contribute to project status meetings and updates with internal and external teams.
• Develop project status reports in line with governance models.
• Work with internal teams to ensure that the scope delivers the expected business outcomes.
Essential:
• 5 years plus experience in IT Software and integrations projects in large-scale retail environments.
• In-depth knowledge of retail processes and systems i.e. EPOS Systems, payments processing & certification, sales transaction processing, user management and controls.
• Knowledge of integration architecture concepts, techniques, and best practices including API management, microservices architecture, middleware (ESB), cloud-to-cloud integration, data mapping, orchestration, security and performance.
• Familiarity with Azure, Oracle Retail, IBM IIB, MQ and Datapower is beneficial.
