Early Years Officer – Fort Early Years Centre
Fixed Term until 24/12/2026.
Salary: £33,287 – £39,129.
Hours: 36 per week, 52 weeks.
Responsibilities
Provide a service compatible with good practice in the education and care of young children and young people within the policies and systems laid down by the Council, the Children and Families department, Care Inspectorate and the SSSC codes of practice.
Regulatory Requirements
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate must join the PVG Scheme or undergo an update check. If an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will need to provide this check. An unconditional offer and commencement will be subject to satisfactory outcomes of these checks.
