36.25 hours per week, permanent (52 weeks), 8:45am – 5pm.

About the role
We are recruiting an enthusiastic lecturer to deliver our specialised SEN programme with an emphasis on Maths. You will be a key colleague in the team, mentored, receive a full induction and continuous support and guidance.
Responsibilities
* Develop, prepare and deliver curriculum programmes that meet individual learner needs.
* Identify, plan and deliver skills and knowledge to learners in educational, work, and living environments, embedding Core Skills through project‑based learning.
* Assess learner abilities across key curriculum areas.
* Support learners in gaining appropriate accredited qualifications wherever possible.
* Contribute to the identification of new teaching materials, methods and resources to maximise progress, including blended learning via our virtual learning platform.
* Maintain records of teaching sessions, prepare learner progress reports, and participate in curriculum meetings.
* Prepare comprehensive reports on learner progress for EHCP review processes.
* Participate in six‑weekly 1‑to‑1s with your line manager.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Educated to a relevant PGCE or CertED teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards such a qualification (e.g., 7302 (PTTLS) first stage teaching).
* Assessors award or willingness to work towards it within two years.
* Previous teaching experience or familiarity with LLDD provision desirable.
* Functional Skills qualification level 3 or equivalent in English or Maths.
* Evidence of ongoing CPD.
* Registration with the SET.
* Clear evidence of achievement of individual targets.
* High levels of accuracy, presentation skills and resource management.
* Extensive experience within industry or an SEN setting.
