The Role This is a practical, hands-on role that involves all aspects of drainage groundworks. You'll be responsible for the excavation, installation, and maintenance of drainage systems including soakaways, sewers, and surface water systems. You'll also handle reinstatement tasks such as concreting, turfing, and paving after works are completed. Responsibilities Carry out excavation and drain laying tasks Install new soakaways and drainage infrastructure Replace manhole covers and frames Repair and replace gullies Carry out patch lining and full lining Complete reinstatement tasks: patios, concrete, macadam, turfing Support Jet Through crews with reactive or planned maintenance when groundworks are not required Adhere to health & safety standards and project requirements Reinstatements of turf, concrete, paving, tarmac etc What We’re Looking For Valid UK driving licence CSCS card City & Guilds qualification in Confined Spaces Proven experience with CAT & Genny Excellent understanding of drainage systems and groundwork safety Physically capable of carrying out manual work outdoors Positive team player with problem-solving abilities Bonus: small digger ticket or trailer towing licence (training available) The Perks Competitive hourly OOH rate.
