Job Description Job Title: Estimator (Glazing Systems) Location: Wirrall, Merseyside - Head Office, Wirral (Flexible/Remote Working Negotiable) Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience Role Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for glazing systems and components, supporting the business in securing profitable projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and a high level of accuracy. Key Responsibilities • Prepare accurate take-offs and cost estimates for glazing systems and components • Input data into estimating software (e.g., LogiKal or similar systems) • Analyse project specifications and drawings to produce detailed quotations • Liaise with internal teams and clients to ensure clear communication of requirements • Ensure all work complies with company policies and procedures • Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes and standards Knowledge and Skills • Industry knowledge and experience preferred (training provided) • Strong technical knowledge of glazing systems and components • Good mathematical ability • Competent IT skills, including MS Office and estimating software (e.g., LogiKal) • Commercial awareness • Excellent communication skills • High level of accuracy in take-offs and data input Behaviours and Competencies • Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Logical thinker with problem-solving ability • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy • Team player with a collaborative approach • Good understanding of wider business needs • Proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement • Self-motivated with the ability to use initiative • Committed to upholding company values and ethics Additional Information • Working Hours: Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00 Friday: 08:30 – 16:00 • Holiday Entitlement: 25days annual leave plus bank holidays • Benefits: Company Bonus Scheme Private Healthcare Gym Membership Company Laptop and Mobile Phone
