To take responsibility for accounts payable, receivable assisting with payroll and reporting to ensuring best practice across the finance administration function.
Description
Duties and tasks of the Finance Assistant:
* Providing administrative assistance to the finance team
* Process purchase invoices
* Raise sales invoices
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders for invoice payment resolution
* Managing timesheets for payroll and amending working hours and overtime rates
Profile
The successful Finance Assistant applicant will have:
1. A couple of years experience in a finance role eg; purchase ledger, sales ledger, accounts assistant or a trainee role
2. Previous use of an accounting system in a professional environment
3. Competent user of Microsoft Excel
