Job Overview

We are seeking a professional and personable Front Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest services, managing front desk activities, and ensuring a welcoming environment. This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for hospitality. The successful applicant will play a key role in maintaining high standards of service and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

* Supervise and coordinate front desk operations to ensure smooth functioning
* Greet guests warmly and handle check-in/check-out procedures efficiently
* Manage reservations, cancellations, and guest requests with professionalism
* Oversee staff schedules, training, and performance to maintain high service standards
* Address guest complaints promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction
* Maintain accurate records of bookings, billing, and guest information
* Collaborate with other departments to deliver seamless guest experiences
* Ensure the front office area remains tidy, organised, and welcoming at all times
* Implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency

Skills

* Proven experience in hotel or hospitality management is highly desirable
* Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills in both verbal and written forms
* Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse guests
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
* Knowledge of hospitality software systems and reservation platforms is preferred
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve issues diplomatically
* A proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail and professionalism

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £24,500.00-£30,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
