CNC Miller Job Title: CNC Miller Reports To: Production Manager Location: West Byfleet, Surrey Industry: Precision Engineering & Manufacturing (Aerospace, Automotive, Defence, Medical, Oil & Gas) Role Overview We are currently seeking a CNC Miller to join a dynamic team within a fast-growing precision engineering company. The candidate should possess prior experience in programming, setting and operating milling machines in a production environment. While SolidCAM experience would be beneficial, it is not a mandatory requirement. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about learning programming and willing to contribute to the team's growth. Role Responsibilities ⦁ Programming, setting and running a DMG Mori CMX 1100V (2019) ⦁ Adjusting existing CNC programs to ensure accuracy and optimise efficiency ⦁ Programming of new jobs on and offline ⦁ Maintaining a level of self-inspection throughout a batch ⦁ Machining parts to tight tolerances with precision and accuracy ⦁ Working effectively as part of a team to achieve production goals and maintain a smooth workflow ⦁ Assisting the production staff in any other tasks that may be required to maintain production efficiency Note: It is also essential that the applicant is happy to work on different machines depending on where they are required.
