We are seeking two compassionate and capable female carers to provide live-in support for a lovely lady in the CT14 postcode area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a long-term care package that values dignity, creativity, and consistency.
About the Role: Youll be supporting a warm and independent-minded lady living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) who is returning home from a nursing home. She has complex care needs including fatigue that affects communication, swallowing difficulties requiring modified meals, catheter care (including washouts), and hoisted transfers.
She enjoys the little things that help her feel like herselfblow-drying her hair, wearing make-up, and getting out for meals. She also loves cooking and creative engagement, and is looking forward to being back in her own space with carers who respect her routines and individuality.
To maintain privacy during intimate care, this role is open to female carers only, in line with a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
As her carer, you will be:
Supporting hoisted transfers from bed to chair and other daily routines
Preparing modified meals and encouraging good hydration
Helping to implement a bowel management plan post-discharge
Assisting with communication using tools and visual aids
Providing gentle emotional support and help with personal grooming
Supporting household tasks, light admin, and budgeting

Pay Rate: £142.07 per day
Travel allowance: Competitive travel allowance for each placement
Food allowance: Competitive food allowance per day
Location: CT14 postcode area (Kent)
Driver: Carer must be a confident driver the client enjoys getting out and values this independence
What Were Looking For: A calm, adaptable, and friendly female carer who enjoys building trust and rapport. Youll need to feel confident supporting complex physical needs with warmth and professionalism, and be happy to work closely alongside another carer as part of a live-in setup.

Training & Support: We will provide full training tailored to the clients needs, including:
Dysphagia care and modified consistency meal preparation
Catheter care and washout procedures
Hoisting and manual handling techniques
Supporting communication needs and creative engagement
Youll be supported by a named Care Manager and coordination team to ensure a smooth transition home and consistent, high-quality care.
