Overview
East Cheshire NHS Trust is looking to appoint enthusiastic, self-motivated and compassionate people to join our team of Clinical Support Workers. We currently have vacancies in Emergency Department.
Responsibilities
* Provide a high standard of care by attending to patient personal hygiene, maintaining tissue integrity and providing pressure area care
* Record observations and liaise with patients' families and the general public
* Support colleagues in providing a positive experience for the patient
* Provide food and drink to patients and assist where needed
* Escort and assist patients in visiting the toilet, washing and getting dressed
* Support wound and skin management
* Record and document patient observations (e.g. temperature)
* Recognise signs of deterioration and escalate any concerns promptly
* Liaise with doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, porters and social workers
* Support the routine of the ward and respond to visitor and patient needs

* This post requires an Enhanced DBS check with barred lists, the cost payable by the successful candidate.
* If you have lived or worked abroad for 6 months or more in the last 5 years you will need an overseas police clearance.
