My client is a well known Fylde Coast organisation based just North of Blackpool. They are looking for an experienced accounts assistant to bolster their finance team in the role of Sales Ledger / Accounts Assistant.
As a Sales Ledger / Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible (though not entirely) for the following:
* The prompt production and issue of quarterly invoices
* Recording and banking of fee receipts and other income
* Monitoring and timely pursuit of unpaid invoices, with a weekly report for the Finance Manager
* Resolving promptly any queries
* Efficient and prompt reporting of debtors and any other problems so that appropriate measures can be taken
* Preparation of information needed for quarterly and annual financial accounts
Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate will be a strong and confident communicator who ideally has experience in Credit Control. Ideally, you will be a self-starter who has the ability to "hit the ground running".
