About Choices Homecare

We collaborate closely with local authorities, healthcare providers, and care professionals to deliver outcome‑focused care.
Working hours
Our service provides care 7 days a week between 07:00 – 22:00. Applicants may choose full‑time or part‑time hours. Schedule options include morning (7am‑3pm), tea & beds (3pm‑10pm), full days or weekends only. Flexible zero‑hour contracts are available; you can work as many hours as you’d like.
This role is paid for care delivery time only, with mileage between calls reimbursed at 30p per mile. This is not a block pay position.

Key Responsibilities
* Support individuals with personal care needs such as washing, dressing, and toileting.
* Assist with medication administration and documentation in line with care plans.
* Prepare meals and assist with eating and drinking where required.
* Promote independence and encourage service users to engage in daily living tasks.
* Build positive relationships with individuals and their families.
* Support emotional well‑being and recognise signs of distress or changes in behaviour.
* Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
* Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in the home.
* Respect confidentiality and always maintain professional boundaries.
What You’ll Need

* Experience preferred but not essential – full training provided.
* UK driving licence and own vehicle are essential; mileage reimbursed at 30p per mile. Proof of car insurance will be required during the recruitment process.
