At Bottesford Infant School we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Leader to join our team. This is a vital role within our school, supporting pupils and families to ensure our children thrive. We are looking for someone who can: provide one to one support for children with social, emotional or behavioural barriers to learning. communicate well with parents/carers, offering advice and support. signpost families to services and external agencies (including completing referrals) provide small group support to deliver targeted interventions. lead the Early Help Assessment (EHA) process. support with attendance and punctuality. liaise with the SENCo and external support agencies. undertake home visits as required and attend meetings in family homes. act as Deputy DSL contributing to the development and monitoring of safeguarding policies, practices and procedures. attend meetings for children who have safeguarding plans (Child in Need / Child Protection Plans) possess the ability to work flexibly and on their own initiative.
