Children’s Social Worker – Children with Disabilities
Join the Child with Disabilities service at Hoople Group. The service is a single team consisting of a Team Manager, two Managing Practitioners, one Senior Practitioner, Social Workers, and a team of Family Support Workers.

The Role
We are looking for a skilled and committed Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities Team. In this vital role you will work directly with children and young people with a range of additional needs, along with their families, to ensure they receive the right support at the right time. You will complete holistic assessments, plan and coordinate services, and work collaboratively with families and partner agencies to promote positive outcomes and independence. Your work will focus on enabling children to thrive and reach their full potential, with their voice and experience at the centre of everything you do.

About You
* Passionate about supporting children and young people with disabilities and their families to achieve the best possible outcomes
* Skilled in assessment, planning, and coordinating multi‑agency support, ensuring that each child’s individual needs are fully understood and met
* Committed to working collaboratively, inclusively, and creatively with children, families, and professionals from health, education, and social care
* Resilient, reflective, and confident in managing complex situations and making child‑centred decisions
* Able to work effectively within a supportive and specialist team environment, contributing to a culture of learning and continuous improvement
* Registered with Social Work England and holds a recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)

Hours: 37 per week
Location: Herefordshire
Salary: HC8 £36,363 - £40,777 plus £5,000 market rate supplement per year (£41,363 – £45,777)
Welcome payment: £10,000
Relocation package: up to £10,000
