Overview
As a Service Operations Engineer, I will be responsible for providing comprehensive support for all business units and managing AWS infrastructure services to ensure maximum availability and value. This includes resolving customer issues via ServiceNow, continuously learning new technologies, and automating business processes using AWS tools and AI. I will also recommend infrastructure improvements for stability and innovation.
Responsibilities
* Provide insights on new technologies, create operational documentation, manage infrastructure costs, support contact center services with AWS Connect, conduct disaster recovery testing, and reduce incidents through root cause analysis.

Qualifications
* We are seeking candidates with an excellent understanding of AWS Cloud services, including CloudFormation, EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, and AWS Backup. Knowledge of networking concepts such as Direct Connect, VPNs, subnetting, routing, WAFs, and VPCs is essential. An AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification, together with Windows Server experience and disaster recovery experience, is required.
* Candidates should have proven experience in supporting a Windows Server domain utilizing operating systems 2016 and above, including ongoing maintenance and support from both an operational and security perspective. Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS is necessary. Additional required skills include previous experience in an AWS cloud environment, scripting and automation skills in PowerShell or Python, cloud provisioning and configuration knowledge, a strong understanding of DevOps, and a focus on cost-effectiveness. Comfort challenging conventional infrastructure concepts, collaborating with design teams, and excellent customer-facing and diagnostic skills. Ability to interpret business requirements, work under pressure, and automate deployments using infrastructure as code. Experience with multiple technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP, Cisco, Checkpoint) and various infrastructure architectures is preferred, with proven expertise in supporting and configuring Amazon Connect.
* Desirable qualifications include experience with Azure and Google Cloud, Linux administration, MCSA/E/D certification, and SC Clearance. A full driving license is advantageous. Additional desirable attributes include broad technology experience with pragmatic application, expertise in Azure cloud and Entra ID, the ability to translate complex technical issues, experience designing fault-tolerant, auto-scaling, financially-efficient systems, and involvement with high-volume transactional systems.
