Maintenance Support
Location: Crewkerne
Duration: 12 months Initially
Rate: £12.11 per hour via PAYE

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Facilities Support and Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day maintenance of our facilities, ensuring that all equipment, machinery, and systems are functioning efficiently. A key requirement for this role is holding a valid Forklift Truck (FLT) license, as you will be required to operate forklifts in various aspects of your work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Facilities Manager in the maintenance of buildings, machinery, and equipment.
* Perform general maintenance tasks.
* Operate forklifts to move equipment, materials, and stock around the facility, adhering to safety standards.
* Assist with inventory management, including the transportation of materials and tools.
* Conduct routine inspections of the facility, reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns.
* Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance tasks, ensuring work is completed efficiently and safely.
* Assist in setting up or reconfiguring office layouts and equipment as needed.
* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed and materials used.
* Ensure that health and safety procedures are followed in all maintenance activities.
* Respond to urgent maintenance needs or equipment breakdowns in a timely manner.
Requirements:
* FLT License (essential): Must possess a valid and current Forklift Truck license.
* Proven experience in facility maintenance or a similar role.
