Overview
Advanced Occupational Therapy Practitioner role based mainly in the South Nottinghamshire Community Team, covering Broxtowe, Gedling and Rushcliffe. This is a permanent, part-time position with hybrid working arrangements.
Location: Middle Street Resource Centre, Beeston, NG9 2AR
Salary: £44,075 - £49,282 per annum (pro rata)
Hours per week: 18.5
Work pattern: Part Time

Responsibilities
* Join the Community Team across South Nottinghamshire and help shape therapy-led services to support people in their communities in the least intrusive manner possible, maximising their strengths, assets and resources.
* Collaborate with health and social care colleagues, carers, and people with lived experience to deliver a strengths-based approach and improve equity and opportunities for those needing support.
* Provide advice, equipment, adaptations and technology to help adults live their best lives.
* Support staff and management with high performance through effective communication and positive relationships with internal and external partners.
* Progress to a senior role with the support of Advanced Occupational Therapy practitioners and the Team Manager.
Qualifications / Experience
* Qualified Occupational Therapist with current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Evidence of continuous professional development.
* Experience as a practice educator and supervisory experience.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a range of partners and stakeholders.

About the department
We work with adults from varied backgrounds, providing advice, equipment, adaptations and technology to support independent living. Our team includes Service Advisers, Community Care Officers, Occupational Therapists and supportive management, collaborating with health and social care colleagues, carers and people with lived experience.
