Your Role
*
Teach Product Design and/or Resistant Materials to KS3–5 (Textiles or Food desirable but not essential)
*
Work closely with the Head of Department to lead curriculum development, data analysis, and staff support
*
Oversee practical project planning and ensure safe, engaging lessons across year groups
*
Coordinate extracurricular opportunities including design challenges and engineering partnerships
*
Mentor early career teachers and support departmental CPD
Ideal Candidate
*
A qualified D&T teacher with a relevant degree and experience delivering across the key stages
*
A track record of delivering engaging, practical lessons that develop student creativity and technical skill
*
A team player eager to develop as a leader and contribute to strategic development
*
Up-to-date knowledge of curriculum trends, assessment strategies, and health and safety regulations
