Duties include: To work closely with the Head of Clinical Assessment Services to meet service expectations in relation to Clinical staffing To interview and appoint new staff, and ensure all vacancies are filled in a timely manner To induct all new staff and support throughout probation period and sign-off as fully compliant to HUC standards where appropriate Manage the workforce with regards to appraisals, audit, PDP and providing effective monthly feedback To ensure regular appraisals are conducted for all clinicians in line with HUC process To identify, agree and implement service improvement and manage and communicate change within the Clinical workforce To monitor the productivity and performance of all clinicians to include GPs and feedback appropriately to individuals and Medical Director To further develop skills in line management Essential: Registered Nurse Registered Paramedic Experience in Primary Care ENB 998 or equivalent Evidence of ongoing CPD Experience of auditing and making improvements to practice Evidence of post registration experience Ability to apply evidenced best practice Knowledge of National standards and NICE guidance Understanding of autonomous practice Ability to assess broad range of conditions Reflective Practitioner Desirable: Minor Injury qualification Relevant Diplomas or equivalent in relevant areas of practice in the OOH Independent Nurse Prescriber Minor Illnesses qualification PGD experience Interpreting and implementing local and national policy agenda. Knowledge / understanding working in the OOH arena
