Initial 6-Month Contract (Strong View to Permanent) London | Hybrid | Entertainment Industry An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join a fast-paced, global entertainment company at the forefront of film, television, live events, and digital storytelling. Working across high-profile productions and innovative formats, this is an ideal role for someone passionate about the creative industries and ready to make an impact in a dynamic finance team. The RoleReporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in the preparation of financial reports, month-end close, audit processes, and financial administration. You’ll bring an analytical mindset, strong organisational skills, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to support a variety of finance functions during a critical phase of business growth. Key Responsibilities
* Prepare journal entries and supporting documents in line with GAAP and IFRS
* Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures
* Prepare reconciliations and financial reports
* Ensure appropriate accruals are accounted for across reporting periods
* Recommend and implement process improvements
* Support external audits and tax compliance
* Oversee financial administration including entity and bank account management
* Contribute to ad-hoc projects and finance initiatives
About You
* Part-qualified (or working toward qualification) preferred
* 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally within the entertainment sector
* Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
* Experience with NetSuite is a plus
* Proficient in Excel and data handling
* Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple priorities
* Clear communicator, both written and verbal
* Eager to learn, solution-focused, and adaptable
