We are looking for an Account Manager to lead client accounts with ownership, accountability and focused on client partnership, outcomes and growth.
This is a role for someone who thrives on responsibility, balancing strategic thinking, relationship leadership, and flawless delivery.
The Role
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for leading client relationships and overseeing the successful delivery of consensus projects and related medical communications from inception to completion.
You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their strategic objectives and translating these into high-quality deliverables. Internally, you will provide direction and support to cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment, efficiency, and excellence at every stage.
You will also play a key role in identifying opportunities to expand accounts, strengthen partnerships, and contribute to new business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Development
* Own and lead day-to-day client relationships across allocated accounts
* Build long-term partnerships based on trust, expertise, and value delivery
* Identify opportunities for organic growth and additional service offerings
Project Management
* Lead multiple projects simultaneously from initiation through completion ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and quality standards
* Develop core materials, monitor progress, anticipate risks and implement solutions to ensure seamless delivery
* Provide clear direction and support to the team and foster collaboration across scientific, operational, and leadership functions
Operational Excellence
* Ensure adherence to internal processes
* Maintain organised project documentation to ensure seamless information flow
* Contribute to the refinement of project management processes by identifying areas for improvement and suggesting changes.
Skills and experience:
Must Have:
· 2-3 years of experience in medical communications or related field
· A degree in Life Sciences or related field
· Knowledge of healthcare market and regulatory requirements
· Strong client-facing experience
· Strong project management skills
· Excellent time management and proactive problem-solving abilities to meet deadlines
· Proficiency in MS Teams and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word)
Nice to have:
· Experience with using project management tools
· Data analysis skills
· Understanding and knowledge of different therapy areas
