Job Title: Assistant Deputy Manager/Unit Lead
As an Assistant Deputy Manager/Unit Lead, you will be part of the management team alongside the Home Manager and Deputy Manager at Wood Care Group. Your role primarily involves providing care with assigned supernumerary time to complete management tasks.
We seek someone who values hands-on care and can lead shifts effectively, supporting both day and night shifts through presence during handovers.
You will care for residents as if they were family, attending to their physical, psychological, and social needs. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, supporting management tasks such as supervision, observations, rota planning, medication audits, and end-of-month medication reviews.
This role is ideal for a senior care professional aspiring to progress to Deputy Manager, within a company that values internal development and staff well-being.

Other Duties:
* Attend staff meetings.
* Maintain personal and professional development through training and support staff development.
* Understand safeguarding responsibilities, reduce abuse or neglect risks, and adhere to safeguarding and whistleblowing policies.
* Provide evidence of completed training.
* Follow fire procedures and health and safety legislation.
* Complete all required training.
